Camponotus truncatus
This species is quite possibly one of the smallest in the Camponotus genus. It’s also one of the few species where some of the workers are actually larger than the queen. Not special enough for you? Well, on top of all that they are also one of the few species in the Camponotus genus that’s arboreal. They nest in hollow parts of trees and in dead pieces of wood. They seldom nest underground.
